Blogging is hard, but I absolutely adore those who took the time to reach out and say kind words after I announced starting a blog. Some posts will be more entertaining than others so I hope that you'll stick through the boring ones with me! Thanks for supporting me on this journey.
This last week we Turkey Trotted, gobbled down delicious Thanksgiving dinner (for several days), and probably ate our body weight in pie. We had plenty of fun with our family around the fire and gathered around the TV watching football, Go Cowboys! Now after a long and enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend I am finally exhausted! We are ready for Christmas.
With the long weekend we found time to begin pulling out Christmas boxes (of course we waited until after Thanksgiving!). Just like most everyone else, I love the Holiday spirit that Christmas brings. Everyone has their own way to celebrate the holidays that brings out their own Christmas cheer. Many are age old traditions and some stem from blending new families. We also place meaning of the holiday season upon objects or pieces of clothing. Some families take yearly Christmas photos, others Christmas carol, and some spend time together simply sipping eggnog and watching movies. Because of my unique situation and Little family, I have kept many traditions, adopted new ones, and have a few personal spirit warmers.

There is no one right way to celebrate the holiday season. It doesn’t matter how you celebrate with your family and friends, just don’t be a scrooge. This is the season of love and joy! My family is always looking for new traditions or fun ways to be more apart of this season. How do you celebrate the holidays in your home?
